The XDI series Swiss-type turning and milling lathe performs multiple machining operations (turning, milling, drilling, tapping, indexing) in a single setup. The spindle moves closer to the cutting tool to minimize deformation of long, slender shafts and enhance dimensional accuracy, making the machine suited to high-volume production of small, complex precision parts.
