Overview
The compact confocalDT IFC2411 / IFC2412 confocal chromatic controllers set new standards in precise distance and thickness measurements. They deliver accurate measurement results at high speed, take up hardly any space and therefore fit into even the smallest control cabinets. The flexible connection of all Micro-Epsilon confocalDT sensors enables measurements on almost all surfaces. The system is particularly suited to industrial series and OEM applications due to its excellent performance, dual-channel option and favourable price-performance ratio.

IFC2412 (dual-channel) details
The IFC2412 is the dual-channel version of the IFC2411. It provides two independent channels with an adjustable measuring rate up to 8 kHz and sub-micrometre resolution (up to 2 nm). It enables two-sided thickness measurements with a single compact controller and is targeted at applications in semiconductor, battery and machine-building industries.

Operation and software
Controller configuration and sensor setup are performed via a user-friendly web interface accessible over Ethernet. No additional software is required for configuration. The web interface provides setup and configuration options and includes an expandable materials database for thickness measurements.
