OverviewThe capaNCDT DTV system provides non-contact Disc Thickness Variation (DTV) measurement using capacitive displacement sensors. It supports synchronized multi-track thickness detection for rotating brake discs and is available as a bench/vehicle solution or as a portable DTV measurement case for mobile quality checks and warranty inspections.

Sensor concept (CSH1,4FL)The CSH1,4FL multi-channel sensor integrates four capacitive sensing channels in a compact housing to measure four synchronous tracks. Sensors can be arranged in mirrored pairs on opposite disc sides to obtain precise thickness values. A ceramic substrate protects sensing elements from mechanical and thermal loads, ensuring temperature stability.
Controller and interfacesSensor channels are processed synchronously with controllers such as the DT6220 (or a 2-channel controller for the portable case). Data outputs include analog channels and digital interfaces (Ethernet, EtherCAT). Device configuration and operation are available via an integrated web interface.
Portable DTV caseThe portable measurement case contains a 2-channel controller with software license, two capacitive sensors with cables and a mounting kit, delivering a complete mobile measurement channel for rapid on-site DTV evaluation on PC or notebook.
