Non-Combustibility Apparatus, in accordance with ISO 1182, is used for determining the non-combustibility performance of the building and railway material under a 750℃ furnace.
During the Non-Combustibility Test, the test specimen (diameter 45mm and height 50mm) is inserted into a stabilized furnace at 750℃, and the temperature of the furnace, surface & center of the specimen will be measured. Also, the flaming time and moss loss are recorded.
Non-Combustibility Test is widely used to assess the flammability performance class of materials, such as EN 13501-1, EN 45545-2, DIN 4102, IMO FTP Code, etc.
Similar tests standards: BS 476 part 4, ASTM E136, ASTM D2652, DIN 4102-1, IMO FTP Code Part 1.
Non-Combustibility Apparatus consists of:
• Special furnace support with Teflon finish for anti-corrosion.
• A refractory tube furnace, the operating temperature resisting over 1000 degrees.
• Equipped with Kanthal® heating element, provides a steady performance.
• The heating element is replaceable and easy to maintain.
• The furnace conforms to various international standards (Two furnace thermocouples – ISO 1182 2020, or one furnace thermocouple).
• Equipped with Omega® thermocouples, and provide spare parts.
• Automated furnace temperature control system, provides a fast temperature stabilization program and calibration stabilization program.
• CE-certificated PID temperature controller.
• Standard test program and Individual furnace temperature calibration program.
• Stainless steel made sample holder.
• Fast specimen holder loading fixturing.
• Data acquisition system, record frequency once per second.
• Temperature solution at 0.1℃, timing solution at 0.1sec.
