The OnLogic Karbon 524 is a rugged fanless industrial PC engineered for extreme edge environments. It features Intel Core Ultra processors, mechanical PCIe Gen5 x16 (x8 electrical) expansion for discrete GPUs or accelerators, and wide-range DC power support for automotive and mobile deployments.

Performance and storage
The platform supports up to 96 GB DDR5 (5600 MT/s, dual-channel) and multiple M.2 slots for NVMe storage (PCIe Gen4 x4 options). A mechanical PCIe Gen5 x16 (x8 electrical) FHHL slot enables compact discrete GPUs (SFF) or other high-bandwidth cards while M.2 NVMe Gen4 x4 provides high-performance storage.

Design for extreme environments
Passive/hybrid fanless thermal design, vibration and shock resistance (MIL-STD/IEC test references), wide operating temperature range (-40 °C to 70 °C), and flexible mounting (DIN, wall, VESA, rack). Wide input DC power (automotive-capable 12–48 V) with programmable ignition/ignition detection.
