Description

Fail-safe encapsulated plug-in/ jaw coupling with flexible element (spider) The flexible HRC coupling is a fail-safe claw coupling with a flexible element for the torsionally flexible connection of shafts. Smooth running The flexible element, the coupling star, is characterized by its resistance to wear, oil, ozone and ageing as well as temperature resistance from -20 °C to +80 °C. The elasticity of the coupling effectively dampens shocks, torsional vibrations and noise. The coupling spider is designed to compensate for radial and axial movements between the two coupling halves. Due to the fixed position of the coupling spider, the deformability in the axial direction is free, so that no damaging axial forces can act on the machine bearings even with changing torque. High operational reliability HRC couplings are puncture-proof up to the breaking torque of the cast-iron transmission cams and therefore offer the greatest possible operational reliability. The coupling is pluggable and does not place high demands on alignment accuracy. The HRC coupling can be used in all areas of mechanical engineering, wherever a reliable shaft connection between the motor and driven machinery is required.
