Overview
The Perkins 400 Series covers engines from 0.5 to 2.2 litres. The 3‑cylinder Perkins 403D-15 offers a compact mid-range option optimized for small industrial applications, combining efficient performance, low operating costs and straightforward maintenance thanks to its mechanical fuel system.

• Low cost of ownership: Competitive fuel economy and performance across applications. Designed for reliability with overlapping power bands and a wide range of options to suit machine and market requirements. Standard warranties: one year for constant speed, two years for variable speed models.
• Compact design: Suitable for skid steer loaders, mini excavators, wheel loaders, welders, access platforms, lighting towers, small tractors, air compressors, turf care and materials handling equipment. Configurable to Stage IIIA/Tier 4 Interim or Stage IIIB/Tier 4 Final depending on market.
• Performance and refinement: Smooth power delivery across 2, 3 and 4 cylinder models (8.2–50 kW / 11–67 hp). Available with indirect or direct injection for reduced noise and improved combustion characteristics.
