Description

PINETTE PEI is a long-standing supplier of hydraulic presses for plastics, composites and rubber forming. In addition to our multi platens presses, we serve the rubber industry with compression presses and turnkey lines for the production of tires and tracks. COMPRESSION PRESSES AND PRODUCTION LINES FOR TIRES As an engineering group specializing in the management of complex industrial projects, PINETTE PEI supplies turnkey production lines including hydraulic presses, peripheral equipment and associated automation. For tire manufacturing, our production lines can consist of : Automatic transfer systems (robots or conveyors) Compression press line: hydraulic presses equipped with heated platens, automatic tool loading/unloading system and tire ejection system. Each press can operate with different tooling Shuttle and automatic tool change system Tool storage system Conveyor for transferring hardened tires Complete automation management Data acquisition system (HMI supervision) Cleaning system for tools Tire manufacturing process In the construction area, a compound is wrapped around a support to form a green tire. When the green tire is ready, the transfer system takes it to a press in the forming area. Beforehand, the tools are cleaned and lubricated either manually or automatically, depending on the preferred option. Next, the vulcanization cycle (rubber curing) is initiated. The compression press jerks the upper part of the tooling down onto the lower part. When the curing process is complete, the hardened tire is ejected from the tooling and recovered by the transfer system, which takes it to the cutting and finishing area.
