These D..OB full cone nozzles with oval spray pattern are used for continuous casting cooling. Their jets, covering an oblong surface, can be easily positioned to ensure a very uniform cooling action. Their construction in two pieces, body and X-vane, offers the same benefits of the normal full cone nozzle in terms of
resistance to clogging and a secure vane.
