Product overviewProfgenerator NaOCl MC series are on-site sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) generators designed for continuous production of low-concentration disinfectant by electrolysis of brine. Units are available across a wide performance range to match industrial and municipal disinfection requirements.
Advantages of on-site generationManufacturing NaOCl at the dosing point reduces handling and storage of concentrated chemicals and ensures fresh, correctly dosed disinfectant. On-site production limits degradation losses and simplifies logistics for treatment plants, cooling systems and food processing facilities.
Operating principleThe generators use salt electrolysis in a reactor composed of an anode and cathode. When brine flows through the cell under DC current, electrochemical reactions produce sodium hypochlorite and hydrogen gas. Hydrogen is vented externally in accordance with installation requirements.
Product rangeProfgenerator NaOCl MC models cover capacities from 240 to 8500 g Cl2/h, offering scalable solutions for small treatment plants up to large industrial systems.
Typical applications- Drinking water disinfection and protection of potable networks
- Water treatment in food and beverage processing
- Cooling water and circulating water disinfection (chemical, paper, refineries, power plants)
- Bathing and recreational water treatment
- Disinfection of fruits and vegetables
