Overview
The AV50 is a carton forming machine designed for automatic assembly and closing of cartons for tubes and vials. Manufactured by F.C.L., the machine is supplied for a single carton format and integrates opening, placement, closing and optional printing operations. It is suitable for cosmetic, pharmaceutical and related packaging environments.

Working cycle
Pre-folded cartons are loaded into the magazine and positioned vertically. A suction pickup group opens the cartons and places them into the carton-reducer on the transport star. Subsequent phases include closing of the lower flaps and optional pad or ink printing (2 or 3 lines). The carton advances intermittently to the operator-side manual loading station. In the final phase cartons are closed on the top side and automatically expelled via the exit chute.

Closure and options
Lower and upper flap insertion with opposing (asymmetric) or airplane-type flaps. Top and bottom gluing with Hot Melt is optional. Mixed solutions (gluing + insertion) available as option. Optional printing on 2 or 3 lines, dry or with ink.
