OverviewThe stretch sleeve label is produced as a tubular film of linear low density polyethylene (LDPE) with elastic properties. The tube is formed off-line by folding and seaming, then flattened and pre-perforated at a constant pitch to allow tear-off during application. Thanks to the film elasticity, the sleeve fits the bottle profile without glue or heat-shrink processes. The system is based on a fully mechanical application concept combined with advanced design and manufacturing technologies.
Advantages and operation- Direct handling from the reel to the container without intermediate handling stations, ensuring high precision and repeatability of sleeve placement.
- Compatible with PET, PE, PVC and glass containers — suitable for filled or empty, wet or dry bottles.
- Suitable for a wide range of sizes and shapes; format changeovers are simple and fast — complete changeover in approx. 20 minutes by replacing a few mechanical parts.
- Entirely mechanical operation simplifies maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Compact design enables easy integration into existing production lines.
