Description

Product overview
NJP 1500 is an automatic capsule filling machine designed to fill powders, granules and pellets into hard capsules. The machine separates capsule caps and bodies, positions bodies under the filling station, meters a precise dose (typically by dosing disc, piston or tamping pin), reconstructs the cap and body and ejects the sealed capsule, providing accurate filling, stable operation and reduced dust exposure.

Applications and benefits
  • Pharmaceutical: accurate dosing of medicines and vitamins with high content uniformity.
  • Nutraceutical and cosmetic: production of dietary supplements and powdered cosmetic products.
  • High-speed production suitable for large-scale manufacturing (up to 90,000 capsules/h).
  • Flexible handling of a wide range of powder types through optimized dosing and anti-sticking options.

Operating process
  • Separation of capsule caps and bodies.
  • Vertical positioning of capsule bodies under the filling station.
  • Metering via dosing disc, piston or tamping pin with controlled compression to avoid overfilling.
  • Reassembly and secure sealing of cap and body, then ejection of filled capsules.

Design and anti-adhesion solutions
The machine is engineered to minimize powder adhesion and sticking by combining precision-machined dosing discs and tamping pins, reduced contact surfaces, polished stainless-steel tamping pins (optionally CrN or PTFE-impregnated coatings) and a fully closed filling station to limit powder exposure and moisture ingress.

Operational best practices
  • Pre-condition powders: drying and sieving before loading.
  • Control production environment: recommended 20–25°C and 40–50% RH; use dehumidification if required.
  • Regular maintenance and cleaning of tools (tamping pins, molds); monitor coating wear and remove residues with appropriate solvents.
  • Quick-change tooling and capsule-size changeover to minimize downtime and increase production flexibility.

Technical specifications
  • Production capacity: up to 90,000 capsules/hour.
  • Applicable materials: powder, granule, pellet, tablet.
  • Compatible capsule sizes: 000, 00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
  • Power supply: 380/220 V 50 Hz (customizable).
  • Noise level: <65 dB(A).
  • Key materials: critical contact parts in stainless steel (e.g., 316L); option for coated tamping pins.
