Description

Overview
NJPL-330C is an automatic liquid capsule filling machine for hard capsules (size 00–3). Designed for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical production under cGMP environments, it processes up to 18,000 capsules/hour with ±1–2% dosing accuracy and an integrated leak-control process. The machine supports gelatin, HPMC, pullulan and plant-based capsules and handles a wide viscosity range using servo-driven ceramic dosing pumps and Schneider servo motors.

How it works
The system doses viscous liquids into pre-opened capsule halves via servo-controlled ceramic pumps, aligns capsule caps and bodies under controlled pressure, and seals them through patented thermal bonding on a turntable to provide hermetic closure and prevent leakage.

Main Features
  • Production capacity up to 18,000 capsules/hour.
  • ±1–2% dosing accuracy with detection to minimize leakage.
  • Patented turntable thermal-bond sealing technology for hermetic seals.
  • Schneider servo motors ensuring synchronized electro-mechanical control.
  • Ceramic dosing pumps suitable for sticky and high-viscosity liquids.
  • Fiber-optic detection for real-time rejection of misaligned, empty or faulty capsules.
  • Modular mold design with rapid changeover (~15 minutes), compatible with gelatin, HPMC, pullulan and plant-based capsules.
  • Handles broad viscosity range (~0.5–3,000 cP) and reduces API waste.

Main Parts
  • Turntable
  • Capsule sowing station
  • Fiber-optic detection units
  • Ceramic dosing pumps
  • Automated rejection units
  • Capsule transfer mechanisms
  • Capsule presence detection
  • Sealing station / sealing wheels
  • Air drying system (DryGuard)
  • Output conveyor
  • Secondary rejection station

Sealing & Drying Technology
Dual-seal wheel process for HPMC and plant-based capsules (two-step temperature/pressure profile) and single heated wheel option for animal gelatin to avoid overheating. Directional DryGuard air-knife and controlled moisture set points accelerate drying while maintaining post-seal hardness and stability.

Validation & Compliance
Designed for cGMP production with validated dosing precision and third-party leak-tightness testing. Includes temperature-controlled filling zone and vibration-dampened mounts to protect dosing repeatability and process stability.
