Overview
UV accelerated aging test chamber simulates environmental conditions including solar ultraviolet radiation, rain, high temperature, high humidity, dew condensation and darkness. The chamber executes these conditions in programmed cycles and provides automated monitoring of blackboard and water tank temperatures. An optional irradiance measurement and control device (UV-SI-260) allows measurement and stable control of irradiance (e.g. 0.76 W/m2/340 nm).

Design and Construction
Equipped with fluorescent UV lamps that reproduce the UV spectrum of sunlight and expose specimens to alternating cycles of UV light and moisture at controlled elevated temperatures. Dew and rain are simulated by condensing humidity and/or water spray.

Controller

Temperature sensor: PT-100 Class A, resolution ±0.01 °C. Humidity measurement: dry/wet bulb sensors, resolution ±1% RH. Optional irradiance radiometer: UV-SI-260.

UV Lamp
Chamber equipped with 8 air-cooled UV lamps, 40 W each. Lamp length: 1160 mm. Recommended replacement after approx. 1600 hours.
