Description

The MX7800 is a 4-axis micromanipulator designed for advanced patch-recording and multiple recording experiments, offering a compact footprint for mounting multiple manipulators around a microscope. Its innovative folded Y-axis stage, based on the proven 7600 and 7700 series, allows up to six micromanipulators to be arranged in a semicircle, optimizing workspace efficiency. The X, Y, and Z axes each provide 20mm of travel, while the tilted axial axis offers a full 50mm of travel, facilitating easy electrode change-out even in tight spaces. The MX7800 includes both MXC and MXC-D style head stage mounts, and is compatible with mounting rods from 3mm to 10mm in diameter.
