INDUSTRIAL EXECUTION: SYSTEM 4 - DIRECT DRIVE ARRANGEMENT
The KRON-P series from SDT Air has been designed for industrial applications that require high pressures with low and medium flow rates, while maintaining stable and reliable operation under demanding service conditions.
Its System 4 configuration—featuring the impeller mounted directly on the motor shaft and the motor itself supported on a rigid base—ensures permanent alignment, maximum power transmission, direct power transfer, and reduced maintenance.
ARCHITECTURE, INTEGRITY AND SERVICE CONDITIONS
Evolutionary construction and materials
All ferrous metal parts of the fan are manufactured in carbon steel, ensuring structural robustness and durability in industrial environments.
The casing is adapted to the equipment size to optimize strength and service life:
-Sizes up to 630: high-precision folded joint construction
-Sizes from 630 onwards: continuous welded construction for maximum structural rigidity
Reaction impeller
- Backward-curved blade impeller with self-cleaning profile
- Statistically and dynamically balanced
- Quiet and efficient operation
Mounting versatility
- Field-adjustable orientation up to size 630
- For sizes 710 to 1000, without front foot, orientation defined at the factory to guarantee assembly integrity. Without front foot, field-adjustable
Operating conditions – thermal execution
- Standard execution: suitable for air handling up to 130 °C in continuous operation
- High-temperature executions: using specific configurations with cooling impeller, material selection, and construction solutions adapted to thermal expansion
These designs allow continuous operation up to 250 °C, maintaining equipment structural
reliability.

Equipped with totally enclosed fan-cooled motors designed to operate reliably in demanding industrial environments.
ErP compliance
- IE3 (Premium Efficiency): standard from 0.75 kW to 55 kW
