Overview
The Pressox series by SDT Air is a medium-pressure centrifugal fan with single inlet and heavy-duty construction, featuring a steel-sheet casing and impeller. It is engineered for clean to lightly dust-laden air and for industrial processes that demand high pressure at low to medium airflow rates. System 4 configuration: impeller mounted directly on the motor shaft with the motor supported on a rigid base frame to ensure permanent alignment, direct drive capability and reduced maintenance requirements.

Design and aerodynamic characteristics
The fan uses a backward-curved impeller with a self-cleaning blade profile, statically and dynamically balanced for quiet, efficient operation. Dynamic stability is enhanced by a front support foot to minimize vibrations. Mounting allows on-site orientation adjustment up to size 630; orientations for sizes 710–1000 are factory-set to ensure assembly integrity.
