Overview
The KRON series from SDT Air is a medium-pressure, single-inlet centrifugal fan with heavy-duty sheet-steel casing and impeller designed for clean or slightly dusty air streams.

Series description
The KRON range is built for industrial applications requiring high pressure at low to medium flow rates. The fans are supplied in System 4 configuration: impeller mounted directly on the motor shaft with the motor supported on a rigid base frame to ensure permanent alignment, direct-drive efficiency and reduced maintenance.

• Dynamic stability: front support foot to minimize vibrations; belt drive from size 710; direct drive from size 1120.

• Mounting versatility: on-site adjustable up to size 630; sizes 710–1000 have factory-set orientation.
• Robust construction: ferrous parts in carbon steel; up to size 630 use high-precision crimped assembly; from 630 upwards use continuous welded construction for increased rigidity.
• Thermal versions: standard continuous operation up to 130 °C; optional high-temperature designs (cooling impeller, selected materials, structural adjustments) for continuous use up to 250 °C.
• Standard finish: industrial coating suitable for non-aggressive environments.

Customization options

• Special materials: stainless steel (AISI 304 / 316), Corten, Hardox for high abrasion resistance.
• Surface protection: heat-resistant paints, hot-dip galvanizing, C4/C5 coatings for saline or highly aggressive environments.
• Special executions: high-temperature versions, inspection doors, drain outlets, sealed or insulated housings, anti-spark designs, ATEX-certified motors available.

Motorization and efficiency

• TEFC motors (totally enclosed, fan-cooled) for reliable industrial operation.
• ErP compliance: IE3 standard from 0.75 kW to 55 kW; IE4 from 75 kW upward; IE2 for powers below 0.75 kW.
