MEDIUM PRESSURE CENTRIFUGAL FAN
INDUSTRIAL EXECUTION: SYSTEM 4 - DIRECT DRIVE ARRANGEMENT
The MOVEX-P series by SDT Air has been designed for industrial applications that require a constant airflow under medium-pressure conditions.
Its System 4 configuration—featuring the impeller directly mounted on the motor shaft, with the motor supported on a rigid base frame—ensures permanent alignment, maximum power transmission, and a significant reduction in maintenance requirements.
ARCHITECTURE, INTEGRITY AND OPERATING CONDITIONS
Evolutionary construction and materials
All ferrous metal parts of the fan are manufactured in carbon steel, ensuring structural robustness and durability in industrial environments.
The casing is adapted to the equipment size to optimize strength and service life:
- Sizes up to 630: high-precision folded (lock-seamed) construction
- Sizes from 630 and above: continuous welded fabrication for maximum structural rigidity
Dynamic stability
- Front support foot included to minimize vibrations
- Optional up to size 500
- Standard from size 560 onwards
Backward-curved impeller
- Backward-inclined blades with a self-cleaning profile
- Statistically and dynamically balanced
- Quiet operation even when handling particle-laden air
Mounting versatility
- Field-adjustable orientation up to size 630
- Sizes 710 to 1000: orientation defined at factory to ensure assembly integrity
Operating conditions – thermal execution
- Standard execution: suitable for continuous operation with air temperatures up to 130 °C
- High-temperature executions: available through specific configurations with cooling impellers, material selection, and design solutions adapted to thermal expansion
These configurations allow continuous operation up to 250 °C while maintaining structural reliability of the unit.
