TM-PT100/1000-L is a module for gathering temperature sensor data of up to 8 sensors. All data are collected from 4 (4-wire) or 8 (2-wire) sensors. The user can decide between PT100 and PT1000 and choose from slow measurement with 100ms and fast measurement with 10ms per channel per cycle. The whole light series has been designed with a focus on saving costs and maintaining a high level of performance. All devices have an open housing for assembly in a control cabinet. The interfaces, LEDs and switches are located on the front panel for most convenient cabling. An additional feature is the integrated TS35 top hat rail for an easy mounting and dismounting. Microcontroller and CAN-interface All sensor data are controlled by a STAR 12 microcontroller. The module can also be used for control tasks via PWM/IO-interface that is connected to the controller. The integrated CAN-interface complies to CANopen (DS301 and 401). It facilitates a decentralized use in different positions in the automation network. It was made in accordance to ISO11898. LEDs and switches TM-PT100/1000-L uses some LEDs for displaying the device status. The configuration of the address as well as the baud rate is easily handled via DIP switches and can range up to 1 MBit.
