Description
The models ALM are roller-type freewheels, manufactured by Stieber. The models are part of the Stieber modular system. They are bearing supported, complete with two 160.. series bearings, and are used for oil lubrication-related operations. These models can be applied in a wide range of designs; they must not be axially stressed.
Models ALM are also utilized with standard covers that are developed for transmitting torque, and for providing oil lubrication and sealing. The covers are normally used in pairs, based on the combinations indicated on the manual.
The outer race of the ALM model is plain to receive and center any part bored to H7 tolerance. The torque is transmitted by means of bolts via the cover plate in this case.
