Overview
This counterbalance gas cylinder lifter is designed for use in narrow workspaces. The design eliminates the need for outlying legs in front of the machine, enabling operators to place cylinders in areas that would otherwise be difficult to access. The unit features a manual-hydraulic hand pump which allows gas bottles to be lifted to height. This model has a safe working load (SWL) of 250kg which can be increased if needed.

Key product features

• Cylinder securing head – Rubber support pad to suit gas bottles with diameters between 180mm and 450mm. Cylinder is secured against the pad using a ratchet and strap (CA10) mechanism. Rubber pads provide additional grip and the ratchet is released by pulling the ratchet lever and rotating the handle forwards.
• Manual hydraulic pump – 13cc hand-operated hydraulic pump. Operators pump the handle to raise the lift ram; lowering is achieved by twisting a manual release handle anti-clockwise. High-quality hydraulic components and cleaned hydraulic hoses ensure long-term reliability.
• Chemical-resistant wheels – Three wheels in total: two fixed 160mm front wheels and a single 160mm rear steerable wheel. Wheels are aluminium-centred with hard polyurethane tyres, oil-resistant and fitted with precision bearings for low rolling resistance on flat, level floors.
• Guarding – Shatterproof clear polycarbonate guarding.
• Metal preparation & finish – Grit blasted mild steel, aqua blasted stainless steel parts; primer and polyester powder coated mild steel; stainless steel parts are smooth and clean.
• Compliance – CE / UKCA. Optional ATEX / UKEX certification available for hazardous zones.

• ATEX / UKEX option suitable for Zone 1, 2, 21 and 22 environments (Ex-rated version: DTP08-250kg-R500-CA10-Ex).
• 304-grade stainless-steel model suitable for clean rooms and GMP areas.
• Tall-lift model available with increased lift stroke (up to 760mm) for placing drums onto higher containment bunds.
