The SS Type PTC air heaters are stainless-steel fin PTC heating elements available in single-fin and double-fin configurations. Heat output is regulated by airflow: increasing airflow raises thermal output and wattage. Units are supplied in standard sizes or can be customised in length, width and power for volume orders.

• Length (L) calculation: L = 24 mm × number of PTC chips per set + tolerance (example: 24 × 5 + 1 = 121 mm).
• Width (W): combine standard single/double fin sets. Typical widths: single-fin set ≈12.3 ±1 mm; double-fin set ≈22.3 ±1 mm; account for extra fin widths when combining sets.
• Thickness (T): standard 15 mm; silicone adhesive increases thickness slightly.
• Silicone adhesive benefits: moisture protection, prevents electrode oxidation, reduces short-circuit/spark risk in high humidity, improves bonding and external finish.
