Description

Overview
The modular long-cut pasta production line is engineered for stable, continuous industrial manufacture of spaghetti, linguine and similar long-cut pasta using semolina or flour-based recipes. The system integrates a multi-stage drying tunnel with zonal climate control and a PLC automation platform to ensure homogeneous drying, reduced cracking risk and consistent final product quality. Each drying stage is independently controlled for temperature, humidity and airflow to adapt to varying climates and raw-material properties. Production capacities are configurable to project needs.

Production Process
  • 01 · Raw Material Feeding — Semolina or flour is automatically fed from the silo to the line.
  • 02 · Dosing and Mixing — Precision dosing units ensure consistent flour and water ratios for homogeneous dough.
  • 03 · Vacuum Extrusion Press — Dough is extruded under controlled vacuum to eliminate air and ensure uniform structure.
  • 04 · Spreading (Hanging) — Extruded strands are evenly placed on drying sticks at controlled lengths.
  • 05 · Pre-Cutting — Synchronized automatic knife system cuts product to stick length.
  • 06 · Pre-Drying — Rapid surface moisture removal stabilizes product shape prior to main drying.
  • 07 · Main Drying Tunnel — Multi-stage tunnel provides zonal temperature, humidity and airflow control for uniform drying.
  • 08 · Stabilization — Internal moisture redistribution and stress relief prevent glassy brittleness.
  • 09 · Cooling — Controlled cooling section reduces product temperature gradually before handling.
  • 10 · Silo / Stick Holding Area — Temporary storage decouples production from packaging operations.
  • 11 · Final Cutting — Synchronized final cutting unit prepares the finished product length for packaging.
  • 12 · Packaging (optional) — Optional full integration with horizontal flow-pack or other packaging systems.
  • 13 · Complete Line — End-to-end PLC-controlled long-cut pasta line from raw feeding to packaging.
