The 3D (triaxial) accelerometer is a MEMS technology sensor, designed for use in structural monitoring. The electronics are protected by an IP68 polycarbonate box for external use, resistant to shocks and atmospheric agents. The box is also equipped with two flanges to allow easy fixing using dowels or to be integrated into a bracket. The G1-ACC 3D accelerometer can be equipped with a connector or cable clamp, both resistant to atmospheric agents. The connector facilitates the connection of cables during installation but is bulkier and more expensive than the cable clamp, which is mounted by default. The cable supplied with this instrument is suitable for outdoor use with a cut-resistant polyurethane sheath. The instrument is suitable for seismic and vibration monitoring.
