The G1-AM 10 is a magnetic settlement probe designed to accurately detect the position of magnetic rings along the settlement column. Equipped with a portable battery-powered control unit, it is ideal for field use. The probe is lowered inside the settlement guide tube; when it approaches a magnetic ring, the magnetic field closes the circuit and activates an acoustic signal. The distance between the magnetic ring and the reference point at the wellhead is read directly on the millimetric cable. The electronics are integrated into the cable reel for greater convenience and protection during operation.
