Product overviewMoulded parts are individually designed sealing elements manufactured to customer specifications. They provide a tailored sealing solution for specific applications and are commonly used as static seals for housings to prevent ingress of dirt and moisture. Special designs can also be implemented for dynamic, highly stressed sealing tasks requiring long-term reliability.
Production and materialsMoulded parts can be produced in established elastomeric material combinations or as rubber-to-metal bonded designs, depending on tooling. Special parts in plastics are manufactured by appropriate techniques: turning for PTFE components or injection moulding for thermoplastic polymers and thermoplastic elastomers.
