Product descriptionThe Back-up Ring BC features a slotted profile with a concave groove designed to support O-rings under very high and pulsating pressures. Its slotted geometry offers easy assembly and is suitable for closed grooves and diverse installation conditions.
Design and mountingBack-up Rings are turned from virgin PTFE or PTFE with fillers and machined to match the groove height precisely. Installing a Back-up Ring increases the required groove width by the ring thickness; ensure groove dimensions account for this change.
