DescriptionThe UZ bonded U-ring seal consists of a metallic ring with a molded trapezoidal elastomer sealing lip and a centering embossment to ensure correct automatic assembly. Tightening the screw compresses the elastomeric lip between two flat mating surfaces; elastomer compression is limited by the metal ring. System pressure further increases the sealing effect. Standard elastomer options include NBR, EPDM and FKM. Metal options include standard steel (1.0330 galvanised) and stainless steel (1.4301).
