Product OverviewThe TOPONE Chain Mining round-link chain drive sprocket transfers torque from the drive shaft to a calibrated round steel link chain in heavy-duty mining conveyor systems. Alternating tooth and pocket geometry supports changing orientations of successive links, while contoured tooth roots and chain pockets distribute contact across the link surface.
IntroductionMining conveyor drives face high tensile loads, impact, abrasion and continuous articulation. Incorrect sprocket tooth profile concentrates pressure, impedes link seating and accelerates wear. This sprocket uses formed teeth and pockets to locate each round link and allow rotation of the following link as the chain wraps around the wheel.
