Product overview
Plain Segmented Chain Wheels are designed for bucket elevators and conveyors that run DIN 764, DIN 766 or CICSA LH round steel chains. They also accommodate DIN 5699 and DIN 745 shackles, ATS bucket attachments and ALH/BLH scraper attachments. Replaceable flat segments are manufactured from C45 steel and induction hardened to improve wear resistance. A welded steel hub includes material discharge openings to prevent dust build-up. The bore is machined to match shaft dimensions and can include a keyway or be prepared for a keyless locking device. The segmented design permits replacement of worn running segments without replacing the whole wheel.

Introduction
These plain segmented wheels provide smooth chain support and guidance in bucket elevators and bulk material conveyors. The smooth running surface (no sprocket teeth) is suitable for round steel chains, bucket shackles and scraper attachments that travel over the rim. Replaceable segments mounted on a welded hub reduce maintenance costs and downtime by allowing partial renewal of the running surface.

Hub openings allow dust and loose material to discharge instead of accumulating around the wheel, supporting reliable chain movement when handling powders, ash, grains, minerals and other bulk materials.

The shaft bore is machined according to installation requirements and the wheel can use a keyed connection or a keyless locking device. Standard catalogue nominal diameters range from 450 to 800 mm and standard compatible chain diameters cover 13 to 26 mm; other diameters are available on request.
