OverviewThe LS series outward-toggle hydraulic injection molding machine is designed for deep-cavity plastic products. The new outward toggle clamping unit provides a significantly increased mold opening stroke compared with conventional units. The machine supports in-mold labeling and robotic pick-up and is available with clamping forces from 5,300 to 11,000 kN.
Main Advantages & Features- Outward toggle clamping unit delivering 25%–35% larger opening stroke than conventional clamping units.
- Clamping force concentrated at the platen center to reduce platen deformation and improve molding accuracy.
- Enhanced utilization of clamping force to reduce flash defects and component wear, improving energy efficiency.
- Optimized outward toggle geometry for a high velocity ratio, fast operation and short dry cycle time.
- Proportional valve and procedural closed-loop hydraulic control ensure stable mold opening and closing.
- Fourth-generation servo system offering stable control, energy savings, low noise and fast response.
- Upgraded KEBA control system for precise regulation of pressure, flow, position and temperature.
Typical Applications- Deep-cavity plastic parts such as trash cans, plastic drums, outer barrels and plastic stools.
- Processes requiring large mold opening stroke, in-mold labeling and robotic pick-up automation.
Product Video- Embedded demonstration video example available: application on production of square plastic stools using the LS series.
Images & Visuals- Illustrations show machine and platen structure, large opening stroke, platen-centered clamping force distribution and application examples.
