Product overviewThe LFLLD insertion electromagnetic flowmeter provides accurate, cost-effective flow measurement for conductive liquids in large-diameter pipelines. Designed for easy insertion and retrofit, it supports bi-directional measurement, automatic range switching and multiple output options (4–20 mA, impulse, Modbus RS485, HART), making it suitable for water supply, wastewater, irrigation, drainage and industrial process monitoring.
Features- Insertion design enables simple installation and economical pipeline flow monitoring without removing sections of pipe.
- Operates reliably on conductive liquids with conductivity ≥ 50 μS/cm; performance remains stable despite conductivity variations.
- Modular sensor and converter design with compact mechanics; converter and sensor are interchangeable and measuring range adjustable from 0.5 to 10 m/s (configurable).
- Measurement depends on insertion depth only, providing interchangeability across different pipe sizes and compatibility with standard secondary meters. Output options: 4–20 mA, impulse, Modbus RS485, HART.
- Automatic range switching maintains measurement accuracy over varying flow conditions.
- Supports forward and reverse flow calculation; factory default: forward measurement.
- Configurable upper/lower instantaneous flow alarms with optional audible alarm or relay output.
- Empty-pipe detection triggers alarm when instantaneous flow is zero.
- Power-loss protection: parameters and cumulative values retained in EEPROM during power interruptions.
- Small-signal filtering: adjustable lower voltage or flow thresholds to remove noise and interference.
- Automatic zeroing eliminates electrochemical interference and stabilizes the zero point.
- Sensor variants and installation methods include IP68-rated submersible options for buried or submerged installation.
