Description:
Our spiral retaining ring has no interference in assembly and an inner diameter that is burr-free. It allows manual and automatic quick installation and removal. External spiral snap rings are typically specified for heavy duty or shock loaded applications and are a standard choice in automotive and heavy equipment industries.

General description:
The unique design of the 2 turn external spiral snap ring provides a strong and flexible 360 degree fixation surface. They reduce the number of parts required and eliminate redundant machining such as countersinking, threading and drilling. Internal and external series retaining rings use standard industry groove sizes and are interchangeable with many stamped retaining rings. This series is suitable for thrust loads requiring deep groove, heavy section capacity.
