Internal spiral snap rings are manufactured by coiling the ring from flat wire, producing a retaining ring with no protruding ears or burrs and a uniform cross-section. They provide a 360-degree retaining surface with no gap and are economically produced in carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and many other alloys. The coiling process produces no scrap, allowing economical production in stainless steel and other materials.
