Overview
ZAflow is an inflow guide for centrifugal fans that adopts a honeycomb-inspired hexagonal lightweight structure developed by ZIEHL-ABEGG to optimise airflow into the impeller. In confined installation situations ZAflow reduces flow disturbances at the suction side and can lower overall noise emissions.

Product specification
ZAflow improves the inflow conditions to the impeller where suction-side faults occur. By optimising the flow into the fan, ZAflow can reduce acoustic levels of the complete ventilation system; typical improvements observed are in the order of 3–6 dB on overall sound level in many installations. If no improvement is measured, the fan installation already provides adequate inflow and ZAflow is not required. ZAflow is designed for fast and simple assembly as a retrofit or new-install solution.

Model selection
Available models cover the referenced size groups: 175 / 190 / 200 and 220 / 225 / 250 mm. The product page slider displays a minimum of 175 mm and a maximum of 220 mm. Two model variants exist: ZAflow S (with contact protection conformity) and ZAflow M (contact protection not applicable).
