LFS Series
Designed to offer outstanding performance in an economic 1/ 16 DIN package providing a comprehensive solution for a wide variety of

The Honeywell Icon 300 Series measure, display and control the temperature and lighting of refrigerated cases and coldrooms. They operate with up to three 2k NTC or PT1000 probes (air-on, air-off and evaporator probes), and has up to six relay outputs (alarm, auxiliary, light, compressor, defrost and fan). Temperature controller is a measurement device used on temperature control. Thermocouple-type and resistor-type temperature controllers measure temperature electronically, obtaining the temperature change from the sensor and sending the measured data to the electronic processor. The output device will then control the temperature variation within a specific range.

The M2 is a controller designed to meet the special requirements of the hot runners applications. Included functions are: change of the Set point of up to 48 controllers by means of only one digital input, common to all the controllers; the commands are: switching from local to stand-by set point; local Set point step increase; local Set point step decrease. Target set point indication.
In case of sensor break the controller output is automatically locked at a value equal to the average of the outputs of the last 50 seconds of operation.

The Temperature Relay TR-42 has been designed for continuous monitoring of the temperature, the cooling fan's control and overheat protection for resin or air insulated three-phase transformers.
Thermal detectors PT100 DIN 43760, three of them located inside the transformer coils and the fourth at the core, detect the temperature.
The TR-42 relay is microprocessor-based equipment designed to satisfy all control requirements and guarantee high reliability.
The TR-42 perform the following functions:

Fuzzy logic is an essential feature of this versatile controller. Although PID control is widely accepted by industry, it is difficult for it to work efficiently in some systems - for example: systems of second order, long lag-time systems, and systems with various set points and loads, etc. This fuzzy logic temperature controller will enhance PID control. Fuzzy logic will adjust PID values indirectly to make the manipulation output value (MV) adjust flexibly and quickly adapt to various processes. This enables a process to reach its predetermined set point in the shortest time with minimum overshoot during tuning or external disturbance.

The liquid filled measuring system changes its volume as a function of temperature changes. A changeover contact therefore is actuated by mechanical transmission.
In case that the setpoint is overflow the controller switches off. After the temperature drops below the setpoint the temperature controller can be reset manually.
When the system leaks the temperature controller remains in the off-position. When the sensor temperature drops below the minimum the circuit opens but closes again when the temperature rises.

Safe Shutdown with the FM Approved Safety Limiter
With Status Retention on Power-On Condition
The Safety Limiter of the Ascon’s “gammadue”Ò series is designed to meet the requirements of safety applications in the thermal market to limit an oven or furnace temperature where a runaway condition may compromise operator safety, equipment or product.
In a typical ‘High Limit’ application the operator sets the limit set point few degrees below the temperature that would cause an unsafe condition. If set point is reached the Safety Limiter output relay contact opens to shutdown the heat source. The relay will not automatically reset after the temperature goes below the set point value; the operator must manually either push the ‘reset’ key or a remote reset switch.
The Safety Limiter also includes a relay or SSR output to actuate an alarm. The Safety Limiter is approved by Factory Mutual (FM) under the category ‘Fuel and Combustion Controls’ section ‘Fire Protection’ in the FM “Approval Guide”.
Two models are available, the M4 with 48X48mm front size and the C1 with 48X24mm front size for applications requiring space-saving but including features typically found only in larger models. All the models can be configured to have Status Retention on Power-On condition. Front panel protection is IP65.
The FM approved Safety Limiter guarantees the best in safety of ovens and furnaces and, in some cases, lower costs on insurance premiums.
