The Microchip Technology Inc. MCP355X devices are 2.7V to 5.5V low-power, 22-bit delta-sigma A/D converters. The devices offer output noise as low as 2.5 µVrms with a total unadjusted error of less than 10 ppm. The family exhibits less than 6 ppm integral non-linearity (INL) error, 3 µV offset error, and 2 ppm full scale error. The MCP355X devices provide high accuracy and low noise performance for applications where sensor measurements such as pressure, temperature, and humidity are performed. With the internal oscillator and high oversampling rate, minimal external components are required for high accuracy applications. The fully differential analog inputs make it compatible with a wide variety of sensor and measurement applications. The MCP355X devices operate from -40°C to +125°C and are available in the space-saving 8-pin MSOP and SOIC packages.

National's Powerwise Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs) are the lowest power family of A/D converters on the market. In addition to providing extremely low power consumption over a range of sample rates, each ADC has a very efficient power down feature. For example, a single channel 1Msps PowerWise ADC used in a 10 Ksps application has a typical power consumption of 0.02 mW at 3V.

Epson audio solutions offer a wide range of applications such as speech enabled portable devices, assistive applications for visually / speech impaired persons, educational toys, mobile handsets (ring tones and music playback) portable music players, automotive audio systems and automotive navigation systems.
Voice synthesis IC product corresponding to several languages that can be voice conversions.
Seiko Epson Corporation ("Epson") today announced it has developed a new synthesis chip for embedded applications featuring Fonix text-to-speech (TTS). The S1V30120 is a companion chip that converts text-based characters into a synthetic speech signal, which is output via the integrated D/A converter. Since it uses a message protocol based on a clock-synchronous serial interface, the chip can be easily integrated with a wide range of host devices and microcontrollers.
The S1V30120 also supports decoding of ADPCM data, which allows mixtures of pre-recorded speech and synthetic speech to be combined as required. (For example, fixed phrases could be implemented using pre-recorded signals, while variable phrases would be synthesized.)
Target applications include a wide range of systems that require voice guidance such as those embedded in home appliances, buildings, and office/industrial equipment.

Provides brick wall type minimalisation of
spurious low frequency phenomena that may
otherwise invalidate data from piezo-electric
sources. Supposed vibration acceleration signals
may contain thermal and strain induced noise
elements, both constrained to the low frequency
end of the spectrum by reason of thermal mass
and the 1/fo
2 relationship between acceleration vs.
displacement respectively.
The filter of course acts as the boundary fo,
between valid data (>fo) and this type of noise.

This FM rejector filter is used to filter out unwanted excessive FM frequencies in your OATS, or other EMC testing facilities.
These frequencies can interfere with your test set-up, spectrum analyzer bandwidth etc.
Caution should be used if your products emissions are in this filter's frequency range as it will reject them as well.

The QTouch devices are charging a sense electrode of unknown capacitance to a known potential. The electrode is typically a copper area on a printed circuit board. The resulting charge is transferred into a measurement circuit. By measuring the charge after one or more charge-and-transfer cycles, the capacitance of the sense plate can be determined.

Data transmission via radio is always made in a serial manner.
Actual data are normally stored in a parallel form, so that there must be a conversion from parallel data into a serial bit stream. On the receiver side, this serial data stream will be converted back to its original parallel format. The radio channel is not free of noise and disturbances so that techniques for error recognition and error correction must be applied.

The MCP3421 is a single channel low-noise, high accuracy delta-sigma A/D converter with differential inputs and up to 18 bits of resolution in a small SOT-23-6 package. The on-board precision 2.048V reference voltage enables an input range of ±2.048V differentially. The device uses a two-wire I2C™ compatible serial interface and operates from a single power supply ranging from 2.7V to 5.5V. The MCP3421 device performs conversions at rates of 3.75, 15, 60 or 240 samples per second depending on user controllable configuration bit settings using the two-wire I2C™ compatible serial interface. This device has an onboard programmable gain amplifier (PGA). User can select the PGA gain of x1, x2, x4, or x8 before the analog-to-digital conversion takes place. This allows the MCP3421 device to convert a smaller input signal with high resolution. The device has two conversion modes: (a) Continuous mode and (b) One-Shot mode. In One-Shot mode, the device enters a low current standby mode automatically after one conversion. This reduces current consumption greatly during idle periods. The MCP3421 device can be used for various high accuracy analog-to-digital data conversion applications where ease of use, low power consumption and small footprint are major considerations.

National's Analog to Digital converters employ a new breed of sigma-delta architecture: continuous time sigma-delta (CT∑Δ). The architecture provides high resolution at MHz speeds with significantly improved power consumption efficiency compared to pipelined A/D converters.
The National CT∑Δ ADC is self-clocked. The integrated clock on our A/D converters eliminates the need for expensive, difficult to design clock circuits. We have designed our CT∑Δ ADCs on a true mixed signal CMOS process. This (the CT∑Δ converter also) enables the integration of extra signal path components like input low noise amplifiers (LNA) & programmable gain amplifiers (PGA) and lower overall system costs.

● ExMGZ 100/200.ATEX
ExMGZ 100 / 200.ATEX Intrinsically Safe Barrier The ExMGZ 100/200.ATEX intrinsically safe barrier is used for applications in intrinsically safe or explosion proof environments classified as II(2)GD [EEx ib] IIB / IIC. It is designed for single or double channel tension measurement and can be used with any FMS amplifier, controller, and force sensor. The ExMGZ 100 / 200.ATEX units
are DIN rail mountable, utilize screw terminal connections and are easy to install between the electronic unit in an unprotected area and a force sensor in a protected area.
● Functional description
The ExMGZ 100/200.ATEX intrinsically safe barrier utilizes a zener limiter on the force sensor side. It controls the voltage to the force sensor while preventing over voltage. A zener barrier is provided for each channel on the intrinsically safe side. Therefore the explosion proof area remains safe from hazardous voltage levels while still allowing the tension measurement or control to perform in the process. A control circuit ensures that the voltage drop of the zener barrier is compensated and it is guaranteed that the full excitation voltage is provided to the force sensors.
