X5 – Solid Punching Technology by FINN-POWER
FINN-POWER X series machines are the affordable way to have a real FINN-POWER.
The background of FINN-POWER's new X5 turret punch press is pioneering experience in hydraulic punching since 1983. Featuring modern industrial design, it continues our modular engineering tradition, where the basic package is already full of features and some options can be equipped now or later through retrofits.
Reliable and productive punching capacity
The X5 is compact and easy to install. Its rigid ”O” frame ensures optimum tool alignment when nibbling or punching with high force.
The hydraulic punch stroke is digitally controlled. It allows different punch modes, stepless punch speed and position programming.Working area is 1,250 mm x 2,500 mm without repositioning.
The turret has a total of 20 tool stations. Seventeen (17) tool holders have been specified, and three (3) are free for customer selection. Index or Multi-Tools® can be chosen. The turret has 29 tools as standard, and the number can be expanded by adding Multi-Tool® stations.
Nibbling speeds up to 600 hpm are available; index rotation speed is 133 rpm max. Maximum sheet thickness is 8 mm and sheet weight 200 kg. Two sheet clamps with central locking are standard.
The machine tables are equipped with brush top. Sheet loading is easy due to two optimally placed gauge pins and a moving table which can be locked to five different positions.
The precision of the X5 meets FINN-POWER's stringent LKP 7100 factory standard.
These features make the FINN-POWER X5 a safe and highly productive machine tool for flexible sheet metal working.

Powerful and high-speed machines
Flexible marking, punching and shearing machine for flat bars and angles, the PS 500 enables machining of gussets and strengtheners (multiple cuttings) as well as fast machining of angles.
The modular conception enables adjusting the capacities of the machine to the needs of the customer with low costs.
Easy access to the tools (punches and dies) enables very fast production changes.
PS machine uses long tested VERNET BEHRINGER technologies (400 bars high pressure, 3 tool selector for punching, high speed marking unit, …).

The Voortman punching and shearing lines are mainly used by structural steel fabricators producing plates, fittings and angle steel parts.
The punching and shearing lines are equipped with as standard a punching unit with four punches and a flat steel shear with +/- 45º mitre cutting.
As additional extras the production line can be provided with an angle steel shear, a horizontal punching machine, a numbering unit and a drilling unit coupled with many other optional extras.
For the automatic processing of angles used in the manufacture of electrical transmission towers, diagonal trusses and connecting angle braces Voortman developed the angle line. The basic machine consists of two hydraulic punching machines and a hydraulic angle steel shear. Several options, such as a numbering unit can be added to the system.

SHEAR GENIUS® is based on the integration of right angle shearing into high-quality, high performance punching, as mastered by FINN-POWER in stand-alone turret punch presses. This integration helps fully utilise the manufacturing economy offered by efficient nesting programs – also included in the standard SHEAR GENIUS® packages. Further, SHEAR GENIUS® systems feature automatic loading and workpiece removal from the system.
There are two basic Shear Genius® models, SG6 series with a maximum sheet size of 1500 mm x 3000 mm and SG8 of 1500 mm x 4300 mm. They both offer:

This shearing/punching machine is used to cut and drill two standard 6.5 x 13mm holes in a single operation. The blade or the punches can be quickly removed to transform the machine into either a simple punching or shearing machine.
The dies can be interchanged according to the different rail profiles ("G", "hat", "C" profile, etc.).

With its 3 mm capacity and 3100 mm cutting length the RAS PRIMEcut combines all features a critical user expects from modern shearing technology. Innovative swing beam technology offers clean and right-angled cuts. Twist-free cutting of small strips is no longer a problem due to the low rake angle of as little as one degree. Special blades are ideal for mild steel and well as stainless steel applications.
The CNC backgauge positions the part within it's travel range of 750 mm. The parts are in a perfect right angle due to the hardened and self-cleaning squaring arm. Beveled table panels and large grip hollows are ideal for quick and easy material handling. A hold down with plastic coating clamps the material gently during the cut.
The machine is complete with a standard sheet support and material sorting system. The integrated sheet support system guides all materials reliable and straight to the backstop. Using a foot lever, the operator determines, whether the parts will be delivered to the front or the rear. This allows material sorting during the cutting process. The quick blade clearance adjustment sets the machine for perfect and clean cuts on thick or thin materials.

With its 2 mm capacity and 3100 mm cutting length the RAS SMARTcut combines all characteristics of a premium shear. The sheet support and sorting system leads the blanks to the backstop and sorts cut pieces to the front or the rear. When material thicknesses change, the blade clearance can be adjusted in seconds. The front and side beveled shear tables, the hardened squaring arm and the deep grip hollows simplify material handling for quick results.
The SMARTcut comes with two machine models. The highest comfort level is offered by a best value, fast and dynamic CNC-backstop. Easy to operate and for lower budgets is the manual backstop, which can be positioned from the front. Both backstops offer a travel range of up to 750 mm. A foot lever determines, whether the part chute delivers the cut pieces to the front or the rear. This allows the operator to separate trim cuts or small parts from large parts without additional, later on sorting effort.
The innovative RAS SMARTcut uses the modern swing beam principle instead of the traditional guillotine concept. The upper blade penetrates the material above the lower blade and with a blade angle of as little as 0.9 degrees. This results in clean and twist free cutting of even small strips.

The hydraulic swing beam shears of the RAS POWERcut series are available with capacities of 3190 x 6.3 mm and 4040 x 5 mm. The controller positions the CNC backgauge with an accuracy of +/- 0.1 mm. The CNC can be moved along the front of the machine.
The integrated part sorting system separates good parts from scrap and can sort fin-ished parts using one out of three angles. The Return-to-Sender-function automati-cally feeds a part from the rear back to the operator. This saves the operator most walks around the machine. Small parts can be delivered into a small parts box in front of the machine. Trim cuts fall into a large volume scrap container.
The VARIO shear table with beveled supports and integrated ball casters simplify handling of even large and heavy blanks. Thanks to the big finger pockets, the opera-tor can grasp small strips as little as 50 mm. Moveable table extensions support even large blanks.
75 strokes per minute assure high throughput. The swing beam technology provides very straight and accurate cuts. A blade angle of only 1.4 degrees brings torsion-free cuts already with even small strip widths.

CNC Variable Rake Shears
The serie provide versatility along with the technology and construction for shearing thin narrow strips or the precision processing of large plates.The upper beam which carries the upper blade is guided by adjustable preloaded and hardened guide ways, a system normally found in much more expensive machines.Both the rake angle and the blade clearance are adjusted hydraulically reducing maintainence and providing overload protection.
The rake angle can be reduced as low as 30 degree reducing distortion in the sheared blank.This can be especially beneficial in the shearing of narrow strips.
The operator simply enters the material thickness, type and back gauge dimension,and the CNC Control automatically calculates the optimum setting of the blade gap and blade clearance.This reduces operator involvment and setup times.

AddisonMckee is pleased to introduce the new All-Electric TubeLouver TL5e machine. This machine provides the fastest known method for forming spiral louver patterns in tubes for use in the construction of automotive and industrial mufflers / silencers.
The TL5e is capable of forming louver patterns in tubes ranging from 35 mm (1 3/8") diameter up to 125 mm (5") diameter in stainless steel, mild steel and aluminum tubing. The machine uses an efficient patented rolling action rather than the usual high friction seen in conventional sliding and reciprocating machines. This enables significant increases in production speeds.

Technical description:
- Variable angle blades adjust between 30° and 140°. For variable angle notchers with multi attachment the angle can be changed non symmetrical individually for each side.
- Automatic blade gap adjustment (European Patent) to ensure perfect cuts in a wide variety of materials and thickness’ (from 1 to 6.5 mm). You eliminate the burr and the manual blade adjustment. This leads to more productivity and less time loss.
- Absolute rigidity is provided by our monoblock Meehanite® steel casting(65kg/mm²) incorporating a heavy duty 3-guide system assures unmatched cutting precision and blade life.
- Reversible blades in HSS (high speed steel) are available in 30° and 60° with either positive cutting direction (cutting from the front edge) or negative cutting (cutting from the rear edge). This gives you the benefit of additionally longer tool life.
- You may select between single step mode or step by step mode (inching function). This allows you to easily copy reference parts or work with special applications.
- Unlimited length trimming is possible with the position of the side guides perfectly aligned with the blades. As you feed the material along the fixture in front of the blade it is guided in line along the rear of the blade.

LC1025
The variable angle notching machine LC series, with variable angle from 30° to 135°, has a robust C-shaped structure capable of supporting even sizeable loads. In fact it is one of the few on the market capable of cutting sheet metal up to a thickness of 10 mm, guaranteeing perfect cutting even on elevated thicknesses.The mobile group is well guided and blade slack is adjusted mechanically via two pawls set at the front of the machine.
AV180
A Simasv patent, the AV180° is the only machine on the market with a cutting capacity of up to 180° without moving the sheet metal from one angle to the other, and it is for this very characteristic that it lends itself to use in automatic lines and in CN. The shearing head in GS500 is mounted on 4 anti-flexion columns and the robust supports on the head and under the workbench guarantee absolute machine rigidity. The direct frontal reading of the cutting angle avoid laborious calculations between the blades and the squares.
