Hardinge is proud to offer The Bridgeport EZ Vision Automated CNC Mill. EZ Vision is a 2 or 3 axis control that comes factory-fit (not retrofit) with power feeds on the Series I Standard Mill. The control is easier to operate than a conventional CNC, and far more productive than manual machining. The 2D contouring capability lets you machine angles and radii without a rotary table. VMC VERTICAL SPINDLE
Haas Automation offers a wide range of VMCs - one just right to meet the demands of every machine shop.
The Toolroom Mills combine the power of CNC with the ease of manual control. Haas CNC verticals have travels ranging from 406 x 305 x 254 mm (xyz) on the Mini Mill and Super Mini Mill to 3048 x 1016 x 762 mm on the monstrous VF-11. Description
The S33APC vertical machining center utilizes a 40 taper, 13,000-rpm spindle with the stiffness and rigidity required for hard cutting applications and the speed necessary to provide high surface quality for demanding die and mold applications. Heavy cast construction and an axis configuration with no overhangs ensures high machine rigidity, resulting in outstanding accuracy over the full range of travel. It is capable of maintaining positioning accuracies to within ±.0001 inch (.003 mm) and repeatability of ±.00008 inch (.002 mm).

Features:
Hardened and precision ground guide-ways are Turcite-B coated. Extra wide box ways design increase contact surface area for higher stability, faster positioning and heavier cutting.
The multi-speed spindle adopts top quality German-built Z.F. dual section gear box. Fully sealed immersion type lubrication with oil chiller circulates coolant and keeps the machine running cool even at 10,000 rpm. (Optional: KMV-8VC).
The spindle runs on high precision taper roller bearings which allow for any type of heavy duty cutting without vibration.
The Z axis is balanced with Nitrogen in conjunction with pneumatic Nitrogen cushioning of the headstock for automatic balancing during vertical motion. Perfectly level and smooth action eradicates vibration. (Optional: KMV-8VC)
Lubricant is pressure fed at a volumetric ratio for even distribution at all critical points for optimal lubrication.
All three axes employ C3 grade high precision ball screws, each with dual pretension nuts and internal cooling ducts with preloaded support at both ends.
The spindle and ball screws at all three axes are cooled by re-circulated oil which passes through an oil chiller, dispelling heat deformation (optional: KMV-8VC).
The disc type system is fast and compact. Arm movement is smooth with excellent repeatability. Tool change time is 2.5 seconds (BT40).
