Hitema close control air conditioners have been designed to minimize the space because we
know very well that it is important a minimum foot print and front maintenance space inside
technological rooms, but, at the same time Hitema close control air conditioners have one of the

Except the replacement of heat-exchange coils, ordinary or extraordinary maintenance can be
executed from the front side of the unit, and that means to have more side space available allowing
the installation of several units close to each other. The access is really easy and quick through the
hinged front doors.

The Grasso ammonia Dryer is a useful supplement for every ammonia refrigeration plant. It eliminates infiltrated water from the refrigerant circuit, even while the plant is in operation! Water has a huge affinity with ammonia and the combination effects the evaporation temperature and finally the efficiency of the plant.
Even low water quantities can influence the evaporation temperature by up to1K, which results in an increased power consumption of around 3%.
In addition to increasing the operating costs, the water causes corrosion, leads to rapid ageing of the oil and quickens the forming of slurry.
For these reasons the infiltrated water results in higher maintenance costs. If the refrigerant circuit is dry and clean these drawbacks can be prevented.

Cold Pump® Cooling Systems are thermostatically controlled, closed-loop air conditioners that use CFC-FREE R22 or HFC-134A refrigerants. Room air is continuously drawn through an external filter, across condenser coils (where it removes the heat drawn from the enclosure) and flows out the top external vent. The sealed enclosure remains clean and cool because internal air is cooled and dehumidified continuously as it is drawn across the evaporator coils.

In order to select the unit best suited to your requirement, the values of three parameters are required: maximum ambient temlperature in the area where the switchboard is installed Te (max), the maximum temperature required in the enclosure Ts (max) and the amount of heat to be removed by the unit (Psyst.). Use the selection chart related to the reference temperature Ts which is closest to the required value. Read the Te value on the horizontal axis of the chart and draw a vertical line through this point. The intersections of this straight line and the power curves of the various units give the power that each unit can absorb in these
temperature conditions. Select a cooling unit with a power rating
immediately above the the Psyst. value to be removed.

Liquid-to-Liquid cooling systems offer precise temperature control of process water and transfer the waste heat to facility water. They are ideal for high heat load applications where precise temperature control (±0.5°C) is needed and chilled facility water is available. Applications include medical equipment, industrial machine tools, printing equipment, and cabinet cooling.
Ambient Cooling Systems (Modular Cooling System%u2014MCS)
Cooling capacities up to 3.5 kW
Modular Cooling Systems are non-refrigerated cooling systems. They are a cost-effective alternative to recirculating chillers for applications where precise temperature control and cooling below ambient temperature are not required. Applications include analytical equipment, cabinet cooling, medical equipment, and laser systems.

COMBI CHILLERS
Among the main features of this series of machines, a high C.O.P. (coefficient of performance) , a very compact structure as well as the centrifugal fans, are available as a standard. The range develops itself in different models of power for 40 – 60 – 80 – 100 kW. Chillers come equipped with a complete hydraulic circuit having a pump and a storage tank, besides pressure gauge, filter and a flow switch, specifically introduced to protect the evaporator and the pump’s mechanical seal.

Thanks to uniform width and height values on all the models, it is possible to create different combinations using more machines, also in different times. The second control tool allows to program only one temperature set for both circuits, while the original tools are useful to see each single circuit alarm.

The range of high power chillers includes 4 models going from 250 to 1000 KW. The RC Variant are variable chillers suitable for large refrigerating systems. The output of these machines varies from 25 to 100% of their capacity according to the actual needs. Condensing fans too are centrifugal and modulating. Energy savings exceed 40% in comparison with the scroll version.RC VARIANT is also produced in a tropicalized version and uses 134.A environmentally-friendly gas.

Just as quiet as an air conditioner (about 62 dBA), the Vortex A/C noise level is 73% less than other conventional, vortex type cabinet coolers. When the thermostatically-controlled Vortex A/C is operating, the decibel level is about the same as normal human conversation!
This next generation, Vortex Cooler features an integral mechanical thermostat to conserve energy and maintain enclosure temperatures within a range of 27° to 32 °C. Requiring only a compressed air supply to operate, the UL listed Vortex A/C quickly installs in a 1,5" knockout hole to keep electrical control panels cool, clean and protected.
When the going gets tough...
Using vortex tube technology, cold air is generated by the Vortex A/C from the compressed air supply and is distributed throughout the enclosure. Since ambient air never enters the cabinet, it's perfect for harsh, dirty environments. In fact, the Vortex A/C features an optional "purge-air" port that, when opened, will provide a constant positive pressure inside the enclosure to purge the cabinet of any contaminated surrounding air. Withstanding extreme temperature conditions, the Vortex A/C will provide reliable cooling operation in environments up to 79° C.

The Peltier effect is a thermoelectric effect, named after the French physicist Jean Peltier. Respectively doped (n-type and p-type) semiconductor materials are used, which are alternately connected in series, each at two junctions. An electric current flowing through that system causes a change in the energy level of charge carriers, thus providing heat being absorbed at one junction and being evolved at the other.

HXi™ Series Heat Exchanger
Our HXi™ Series air-to-air heat exchangers are designed primarily for cooling indoor and outdoor electronic enclosures. They use a double-sided impingement technology to significantly improve heat transfer performance while reducing heat exchanger size. Tests verify that the HXi™ heat exchanger is capable of dissipating twice the heat load of competitive heat exchangers at a comparable size.
Thermacore’s patented design makes the HXi™ Series a low-cost and high-performance alternative to conventional heat exchanger technologies. There are fewer moving parts for greater overall reliability. Standard units are available with 2, 4, 6 or 8 fans. Custom optional features such as alarms and temperature controls are also available.
