Hypro roller pumps are the number one all-around choice by farmers throughout the world. The rollers (from 4 to 8, depending on the model) revolve inside the pump housing to force the spray solution through the outlet to the nozzle. Roller pumps have a low initial cost and are extremely versatile. They operate efficiently at PTO speeds of 540 and 1000 rpm and have a wide pressure range of up to 300 psi and flow rates of 2 to 74 gpm. Roller pumps are self priming and easily adapt to PTO or gas engine drives. Specific seal, roller and casting materials can be selected for compatibility with certain herbicides, pesticides, fungicides and fertilizers.
|
|
Hypro roller pumps are designed for agricultural and industrial spraying and transfer of a variety of fluids. These include insecticides, herbicides, emulsives, aromatic solvents, liquid fertilizers and many other liquids. The economical rotary-action roller principle requires no check valves while providing positive displacement characteristics with less friction and lower starting torque than other pumps. Construction features include a cast-iron, Ni-Resist or the new SilverCast%u2122 body and Super Rotor, 416 stainless steel shaft, sealed factory-lubricated ball bearings, cartridge-type lip seals of Viton, Buna-N or leather, and versatile Super Rollers.

The Power Pump Portfolio.
Roots pumps for Every Low and Medium Vacuum Applications.
Our Roots pumps offer pumping speeds ranging from 250 to 25,000 m3/h. They can be safely employed for low and medium vacuum applications in the coating or semiconductor industry, in research & development, metallurgy or in chemistry and process technology.
The gear and bearing chambers in our Roots pumps are completely separate from the gas pumping chamber. Because the rotors operate without making contact, dry, hydrocarbon-free operation is assured.
A further advantage: Thanks to air cooling, operating costs are significantly lower than with water cooling. The design principle of our proven Roots pumps has also been expanded to include magnetic couplings. These hermetically sealed pumps make oil leaks a thing of the past. We have also developed special pumps for processes that take place in explosive environments or for evacuating explosive gases.

Rotor pump is also named rotary lobe epump, three-lobe pump, sole pump, etc. When the 2 simultaneous reverse rotating rotors(with 2-4 gears)revolve, it produces suction force at the inlet(vacuum),which intakes the material delivered. The 2 rotors divide the rotor housing into many smaller parts and revo-Ive in the sequence of a→b→c→d.When it revolves to position a,only housing I is filled with medium;when it revolves to position b,housing B encloses part of the medium, when it goes to position c,housing A encloses medium, and finally it goes to position d,then housing A,B and II are interlinked and the medium is transported to the outlet. As this process is repeated, medium(material)is transpor-ted continuously.

Designed for "on-line" continuous shearing and mixing action. A choice of modularly interchangeable stators and rotors make it versatile for processing a wide variety of products. Variable speed drives may also be used to further adjust the shear and mixing affect. Texturizes to give a smooth body and texture to such products as ricotta cheese and food pastes. Emulsifies to make stable emulsions of products with both oil and water base ingredients; blends to provide continuous, on-line blending without air incorporation or lumps of dry product; reconstitutes to assist reconstitution of powdered products such as milk powders; suspends/disperses to give stable solids in liquid suspension; polishes to improve the appearance of products by providing a smoother and more uniform surface texture.
|
|
The new, efficient mixing method is based on the proven centrifugal pumps of the Fristam FP range. Instead of the impeller, a rotor/stator system operating at tip speeds of up to 38 m/s, draws inhomogeneous media through shearing clearances of just 0.3 mm.
Extremely high flow rates generated in the rotor/stator system and a high shear rate of up to 125,000 1/s enables high-performance blending of multiphase products. The result is inseparable emulsions and end products of incomparable homogeneity.
The smooth operating performance achieved by this system conforms with the unique precision and quality you have come to expect from all Fristam components.

Pump series BT and BTH are low speed gear pumps for
transfering medium and high viscosity fluids, provided they
have certain minimum amount of lubricating property, do
not contain any solids and are chemically compatable with
the materials of construction.
The standard material of construction for housing, bearing
cover and stuffing box cover is grey cast iron. The shafts
and gears are manufactured from case hardening steel, hardened
and ground. The shafts are carried in plain bearings
manufactured in bronze, with an option of sintered iron.
The rotary shaft seal is a packed gland consisting of PTFE
fillied Aramid yarn, and the static sealing between mating
parts is by means of either, liquid sealant or gaskets. All
sealing materials are asbestos free.
External axial loads are not permissable, restricted radial
loads can be absorbed, dependant on their magnetude and
direction.
Driving by flexible shaft coupling is preferred.
In the case of fluids which require elevated temperatures to
flow i. e. bitumen, wax etc. the BTH series pump should be
used. In this model the housing is double walled to provide
a heating jacked. The pump transfer chamber is heated by
circulating heat transfer fluid or steam through the jacket.

High Pressure Gear Pumps
Lynch gear pumps are available in six different groups (0.25, 0.5, 1P, 1, 2 and 3). Different pump displacements within each group, ranging between 0.011 cu. in./rev and 5.310 cu. in./rev, can be obtained by changing the thickness of the gear tooth band. Within the same group, different flanges, shafts, inlet and pressure ports are available.
The following items are also available:
- pumps with integrated maximum pressure valve;
- hi-pressure pumps
- bi-rotational pumps
- hydraulic motors (both unidirectional and bi-directional)
- modular multiple pumps.

Conventional sealing gaskets are pushed to their limits with
different applications. Typical applications are found in
polyurethane facilities, refrigerating machines and vacuum
facilities. For these applications, you have the possibility
to equip the KF 4…80 with a magnetic coupling.
The magnetic coupling serves as a shaft seal and for the
transmission of the torque. The outer rotor of the magnetic
coupling is assembled on the engine shaft and the inner
rotor is assembled directly on the pumping shaft. The
torque is transmitted through the magnetic forces between
the outer and inner rotor. Between the two rotors, you
have the split case which hermetically seals the pump.
