The proper use for rotary vane pumps XS is in the 1 mbar to 10-3 mbar range. VACUUBRAND oil sealed rotary vane vacuum pumps are high performance, direct drive vacuum pumps of one stage (RE) or two stage type (RZ). With small dimensions and various direct mounted accessories such as separators, full-flow oil filters with maintenance indicator and oil mist filters they are all-rounders in fine vacuum generation. Especially for applications in chemistry laboratories, they offer a high vapour capacity for water and solvents and an active corrosion protection through an oil shut-off circuit, keeping the module under vacuum and stopping corrosives from entering the pump during non-operation.
high conductance inlet
high pumping speed even at low vacuum
high vapour tolerance
for water and solvents through gas ballast about to 10% of pumping capacity. Quieter running and good ultimate vacuum even with gas ballast.
anti-corrosion design
important inner surfaces mechanically ground and plasma treated. Oil shut-off device against corrosive gases entering the pump whilst switched off.
new lubrication circuit and large oil volume
for quiet operation and longer service intervals
compact design
smaller dimensions, low weight, ease of maintenance through telescopic design

This unit is able to fulfil the highest requirements for a wide range of applications. By entering the load and output into your customer system, the air supply system automatically and directly adapts to the given requirements. The frequency-controlled drive unit offers a wide control range with optimised demand matching. In addition to energy savings and higher efficiency, this also results in lower maintenance requirements. The non-contact, oil-free screw unit ensures high air flows with low pulsation and lends itself to "master/slave" operation. Integrated accessories include a non-return valve, intake filter, sound absorbers and ventilation/bleed system. An air blast cooler is also available.

The new ILMVAC scroll pumps "Dry Run I and II" are intended
for use as dry-running vacuum generators in the laboratory and in industry.
The scroll pump can be operated either as a single pump or in pump
combinations. The ILMVAC DRY Run I and II have been conceived and developed as truly chemically resistant dry running pumps. The wetted parts receive as PTFE based proprietary treatment ensuring resistance to most corossive chemicals. However, chemical resistivity tolerance may vary according to the application. The pump has a gas ballast device which also ensures the pumping of vapours up to a defined maximum intake pressure. Should condensate form in the pump body, the unique vertical construction of the pump allows it to flow out of the pressure port easily.
The working pressure ranges from low to high vacuum. The dry running avoids pump oil particles from diffusing back into the suction port of the pump and on into the connected apparatus. The time consuming filling and draining of operating oil is also eliminated, which provides clean handling of the pump.
|
|
Using "multi-stage" compression, side channel vacuum pumps generate low-pulsation suction air. Perfected impeller design with curved blades guarantees Optimum efficiency. Separation of the compression chambers on both sides of the impeller permits single-stage, twin-flow as well as two-stage, single-flow operation with only one impeller. Vacuum filter and vacuum safety valve can be integrated as an optional extra in the patented design of the sound absorbers. The sound absorbers can be varied in length, affording flexible adjustment to available installation space.

The PIAB Vacuum & Blow system has been developed to increase the productivity and improve the working environment in the graphic industry.
The system consists of three main components - the pump cabinet, the computer software, and one or two hand-held remote controls. By pressing just a few buttons you can set the exact level for suction and blowing. All functions can be controlled individually from a central control unit or by remote control. Energy consumption is reduced and production is speeded up considerably. The settings for different types of paper are stored in the computer, whence they can be extracted when it is time to reprint or perform a similar task. The opportunity to use software to control the pumps provides maximum control and precision. The cabinet also includes a manual emergency control unit.
