V806M Beam coping system
For a more efficient production, the traditional production lines for drilling and sawing can be extended with the Voortman robotic beam coping system. The previous model of the V806M was fitted with an oxygen-cutting torch. Partly due to its practical experience, in the latest development of the V806M, Voortman can integrate into the system a plasma-cutting unit.
The V806M beam coping system, with an integrated roller feed measuring system and a six axis industrial robot, has been developed to eliminate manual layouts, automating all coping, flange weld preparation, mechanical cut-outs, castellations, haunches, beam splitting, cut-off processes such as straight mitre cuts and compound mitre cuts required on structural steel sections.
Flexibility and accuracy
This CNC controlled beam coping system is the only robotic system in the world today combined with a roller feed measuring system for total flexibility and accuracy. Due to the technologically advanced design of the roller feed measuring system, it can be easily incorporated into any existing layout or fully automated system.
