SSI's engineered electrically conductive elastomers (conductive rubber) provide sealing solutions for mission critical applications that require both environmental and electromagnetic interference, electrostatic discharge, and radio frequency shielding. The incorporation of elastomers with alloys creates a multi-material compound capable of providing electrical shielding with the superior physical properties of an engineered elastomer. SSI's material engineering team utilizes a variety of elastomeric binders combined with a large array of conductive fillers to custom design solutions for all types of applications in the aerospace, semiconductor, and medical device industries.

Over-Molded Cover Seals
Enclosure shielding and environmental sealing performance are improved in a number of ways when conductive elastomer gaskets are molded directly to a flange surface instead of being adhesive bonded or mechanically attached. Over-molded gaskets provide the optimum seal profile, achieving more gasket deflection with limited closure force when compared to flat, bonded gaskets.
Molded D- and O-Rings
Parker Chomerics' D-ring and O-ring conductive elastomer gaskets provide moisture/pressure sealing and EMI shielding when compressed in a properly designed groove. They are interchangeable with standard non-conductive seals of the same dimensions.
Custom Molded Gaskets
Parker Chomerics can mold conductive elastomer EMI gaskets to fit practically any application. Custom molded elastomer gaskets can include tight corners, retention bumps and other special geometries. Many other features can be added, such as fabric or mesh reinforcement, pressure-sensitive adhesive, fasteners and compression stops. Non-conductive silicone environmental seals can be bonded to or co-molded with conductive EMI shielding elastomers.
Connector Gaskets
Chomerics' die-cut conductive elastomer gaskets provide shielding and environmental sealing when inserted between a connector flange and their mating surfaces. A variety of Mil-Standard mounting flange EMI gaskets are available, along with interfacial EMI seals and jam nut seals. Chomerics also provides D-subminiature rectangular gaskets in a complement of shell sizes from 9 to 50 pin.

OmniFlex Fluoroelastomer Seals
Markets: Aerospace, Analytical Instrumentation, Petrochemical, Pumps, Valves, Robotics, Automotive, Industrial Finishing, Adhesive Dispensing, Semiconductor Wafer Processing
As a fluoroelastomer seal, OmniFlex provides exceptional performance in corrosive environments and in extreme operating temperatures. OmniFlex has an outstanding low temperature performance of -57°C (-70°F) which outperforms any elastomer, with a maximum temperature of +218°F (+424°F). With its softer durometer, OmniFlex is an excellent choice for low friction hydraulic seals and standard o-rings, but special shapes can easily be manufactured to dimensional tolerances, which include standard o-rings in metric, JIS, AS568 Standard or unique sizes.

Greene, Tweed's unsurpassed expertise in elastomeric and thermoplastic compounding has resulted in the design of this exceptionally long-life, low-friction seal. The Bandseal (GTB) is a self-actuating extrusion resistant seal combining low breakout and running friction with minimal leakage over extended service life. The seal is constructed of premium grade PTFE sealing caps and elastomer energizers. Greene, Tweed's GTB Bandseal is a compact single-acting seal for sealing reciprocating rods but is also available as a single-acting cylinder bore seal. The Bandseal has no stickslip effect. Its fluid feedback capability means the Bandseal cannot cause a pressure trap when assembled in tandem arrangements. The GTS Bandseal operates in temperatures ranging from -85°F (-65°C) to 500°F (260°C) with pressure up to 200 bar standard (higher pressures are possible).

HS 10 has been designed for general sealing purpose which includes easy installation of the seal.
HS10 has a unique rubber bellow secondary seal, which provides a high degree of axial flexibility to compensate for lack of concentricity of the shaft & misalignment & wear due to thrust movement of the shaft.
The seal can be use regardless of direction of rotation since the driving torque is not transmitted through the coil spring, The required driving torque is enhanced through the unique rubber bellow which fits on the shaft through the interference fit between the collar, rubber bellow & the shaft.
Applications :
Generally used in hot & cold-water pumps, Oil pumps, refrigeration compressor & fuel injection pumps.
Material :
Seal Faces : Carbon Vs Ceramic/Sic./TC
Secondary Seals : Nitrile/ Neoprene/Viton
Metal Components : SS-316
Operating Limits :
Shaft Dia. : 10 to 100mm
Pressure : up to 10 Bars
Temp. : -20 to 150°C
Speed : up to 25 m/s
