| The ambient air given off by any compresser always contains water vapour. This depends on the ambient temperature and the relative humidity. When air is compressed, the volume decreases proportionally. This results in condensate formation. Condensate causes corrosion in compressed air pipe line, increases tool wear, faults in air controls, delayed response time, expensive down time, etc. Compressed air driers are used to separate the condensate and contaminants. |

PNC Series
(4,000 - 20,000 scfm)
PNC Series Refrigerated dryers are ideal for continuous-duty applications. Non-cycling operation uses refrigerant manufacturers of control valves to maintain dew point stability. Capacity unloaders provide energy savings at specific levels of system load.
Environmentally friendly "NO CFC" refrigerants and durable semi-hermetic refrigerant compressors for long life
Fully automatic, non-cycling refrigeration control systems provide energy efficieny and the lowest possible dew point under all rated design conditions
Non-clogging automatic condensate drain cocks for fast, reliable condensate removal
Rugged structural steel frame construction for component protection and system integrity

DryStar (0-200 cfm):
The economically priced DryStar cools pneumatics by mechanical refrigeration to a 33-39 degree F pressure dewpoint. Condensed water is removed through an automatic industrial drain cock. Featuring low power consumption, DryStar professional dryers are simple to install with a quick fit electrical connection. Each DS dryer uses environmentally friendly R134A refrigerant.
Ratings are based on 100 degree F inlet air temperature and 100 psiG inlet air pressure.
Maximum inlet temperature is 140 degree F, maximum pressure is 232 psiG.
DryStar (DS) Refrigerated dryers:
IR%u2019s DS: An economical product that can reduce compressed air dew point temperatures below 40F.
Easy to install and nearly maintenance free.
A GP pre-filter should be utilized to reduce contaminants in your system. |

Solid performance
_Steady pressure dew point
_No freezing of condensed moisture
_No chance of moisture entering the compressed air system.
Simple reliability
_Quality components, generously sized
_Simple and proven design
_Effective control system (hot gas bypass). |
|
| The extremely efficient design ensures cost-saving and reliable operation. The technical highlights include: vertical heat exchanger suppliers arrangement with condensate flow from top to bottom (correct physics!), stainless steel demister for reliable separation, and a large calming space to prevent condensate carry-over. |
|
In classical applications where the air network is not below 0°C or 32°F, the technology of the refrigeration industrial dryer with dew point of 3°C (37.4°F) completely eliminates the water contained in the pneumatics.
Using a DW dryer is an guarantee to produce compressed air of the best possible quality

During the design of this line of refrigeration suppliers of air dryers one theme was kept central: energy efficiency.
When using the level controlled condensate drains (standard as from EDU 500 upwards) an unnecessary loss of expensive compressed air is prevented. Furthermore the refrigeration air professional dryers are supplied with the unique Trisab aluminium heat exchanger manufacturers.
The specific advantages are as follows:
Efficient and low energy cooling of the compressed air via the two-stage heat exchanger.
Due to relatively large flow channels the pressure drop is extremely low and the refrigeration air dryer is not easily affected by pollution.
The system is supplied with an overloading reservoir thus ensuring a constant pressure dew point, even in varying load and intensive use.
Optimal condesate separation.
