SILO² is the innovative vertical lift system with shifting-trays that offers, as standard, over one billion possible configurations. Differently from traditional vertical lift systems with only one column containing wider trays, Silo² is available in the multi-columned version from one up to 8 columns. Its perfect flexibility makes it ideal for any type of storage requirements. It is also a fast solution for picking operations of small to medium-sized items. Thanks to its multiple possible configurations, it may substitute one or more traditional vertical lift systems with one column and generate higher storing capacities at lower costs. The combination of two types of capacity (250 and 400 kg) and 105 different tray dimensions means that it is even possible to manage any kind of items. Silo² horizontal development ensures high storing capacity even in environment with complex layout, low-roofed permises, multiple floored-premises and rooms with pillars. Special insulated panels allow the machine to be installed outside. In multi-columned systems one or more access openings can be positioned at the same machine level, or at different levels and/or opposite each other: this reduces standby-times between one operation and another and speeds up material picking/stocking times. An external telescopic bay makes the picking of heavy and large materials easier. Properly set up and dimensioned trays ensure items care, while operator safety is guaranteed by the closing metal panel, external photoelectric barriers and emergency push buttons. The warehouse management is controlled by a dedicated software compatible with Microsoft Windows.
