SILO L is a single-columned vertical lift system with shifting-trays for the intensive storage of different materials. Its ability to expand vertically optimises available height (up to 15 m) in the warehouse and limits the footprint area necessary for its installation. Steel-bottomed trays, of 690 or 880 mm depth, may have load-bearing capacities up to 750 kg while tray widths may vary among 3000, 3500 and 4000 mm. Their modular and divisible framework together with different fitting ensure products care and allow the storage of different items in size and shape. SILO L structure can be extended over multiple floors: consequently more than one internal or external access opening can be positioned at different levels and/or opposite each other by reducing standby-times between one operation and another and speeding up material picking/stocking times. Operator safety is guaranteed by external photoelectric barriers and emergency push buttons, at the access opening. The warehouse management software, compatible with Microsoft Windows, allows handling and control of stored materials keeping maximum order and complete information.
