A new two-channel receiver unit for self-sufficient switchgear also assumes the function of a gateway, making integration in superordinate automation systems much easier. For a good reason: more and more frequently, switching devices using "energy harvesting" technology are being used in complex plants, e.g. in the automobile and chemicals industries.

In just a few steps the new receiver unit can be taught in. Users can choose whether the gateway should transmit the protocols of all existing wireless switching devices or only the telegrams from certain, previously programmed switching addresses.

The compact module, which works with a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC, can be integrated in existing switching cabinets using top hat rail mounting. The antenna, measuring just 100 mm, is positioned outside the switching cabinet.
